Privacy Policy

Enso is built to stay out of your way — and that includes your data. It doesn’t collect any.

Last updated · September 15, 2026

Enso does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. There are no accounts, no analytics, no trackers, and no advertising. Nothing you do in Enso leaves your Mac.

What stays on your device

Your preferences — focus and break lengths, sessions per cycle, sound, theme, and timer state — are saved locally on your Mac using the standard system settings store. This information never leaves your device and is never sent to us or anyone else.

Notifications

When a session ends, Enso can show a local notification and play a short chime. These notifications are generated entirely on your Mac. Enso does not use push notifications and has no server.

Start at login

If you turn on “Start at login,” Enso registers itself with macOS so it opens when you sign in, using Apple’s built-in Service Management. This is a local system setting — no data is collected in the process.

Links you open

Enso includes a link to its developer on X. Choosing it opens the address in your default browser; from that point the destination site’s own privacy practices apply. Enso itself has no in-app browser and makes no network requests.

Children

Enso is suitable for all ages and collects no data from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, the revised version will be posted at this address with an updated date. Since Enso collects no data, any changes are expected to be minor.
